Be Cautious When Donating
To Hurricane and Flood Relief
"Charities"

The recent Louisiana flooding and the devastation of  Hurricane Matthew are
prime opportunities for con artists to tap into your sympathies and line
their pockets. If you are approached for donations,  it may be legitimate
(or may not be), but you can make sure your money is going to a legitimate
charity by going directly to the charity's website, or donating through a
trusted resource, like your church.
Never give your credit card or account number to
anyone requesting a donation over the phone.
