  • Share Savings Accounts (Federally Insured)



    This is the base of your membership with Wayne County Community Federal Credit Union, and a minimum amount of $5.00 in this account opens up other credit union benefits for you. There is a  $5.00 minimum balance required, and minimum opening amount for a new account of $25.00.  No monthly activity charges. ATM Card is available for this account. (If you have a checking account also, you can access your savings with the MasterCard® Debit Card.)  Quarterly statement (if savings account only).   Interest bearing based on your Average Daily Balance (ADB of $25 or more required for interest to be paid for the period.)
  • Share Draft Checking



     Popular for its simplicity and value, this no-fee Checking Account sets us heads-and-shoulders above other fee-driven accounts offered by other financial institutions. The WCCFCU Checking Account features NO monthly service charge and NO monthly activity charge. There is NO minimum balance requirement. Monthly e-statement (or mailed statement) is provided on your account. Members love the Free Online Banking Account (where you can check activity on your account, see current balances, transfer funds between accounts,  set up your own account alerts (such as text or email alerts if your account falls below a set dollar balance, or if a deposit or check/withdrawal posts to your account. Text or data fees from your provider may apply.) Qualified checking accounts have $300 additional Overdraft Protection available, and after the checking account has been open and in good order for 60 days. Members may choose to opt-out of this option if they choose.

RSVP Now for the Annual Meeting for Wayne County Community Federal Credit Union members 

Reservations are now being accepted for the 48th Annual Meeting for the Wayne County Community Federal Credit Union to be held Thursday May 15, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Memories Party and Conference Center, 2437 Back Orrville Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691. Memories Party and Conference Center is located just east of the Akron Road (Ohio 585) intersection at the eastern edge of Wooster.



Members are encouraged to attend and enjoy a full meal (including main dish, sides, dessert and beverage) and will  receive a free gift just for attending. Several door prizes will be awarded at the   end of the evening as well. (Must be present to win a door prize, and to receive a free gift). 



Four positions on our Board of Directors will be up for election this year.  Also, the new slate of  volunteers serving on the Supervisory Audit Committee will be introduced. CEO Mike Hofstetter will recap the credit union financial performance as well this credit union’s impact on members and on the community.



Entertainment for the evening will be humorist and magician Dave Lehman, who makes audiences laugh with his “down home” style  and good-natured comedy. Popular at fairs and festivals across much of Ohio, his magic acts are fun and light-hearted, and all the more amazing when you observe that Mr. Lehman is legally blind.



Cost for the evening, which includes the meal, entertainment, gift and opportunity to win a door prize is just $12 per person once again this year. (Children age 6-9 years old are just $6 per child, and children under 6 are free.) Call in or stop in any office to make your reservation, and the cost will be deducted from your savings account.
