Accounting Team Member

The Credit Union is currently accepting applications for an Accounting Team Member position. As an Accounting Team Member at WCCFCU, you will build awesome relationships within the Credit Union and have the chance to contribute and engage in rewarding opportunities as we build the Credit Union’s future!
Along with general accounting functions, major responsibilities will include accounts payable processing, daily general ledger account balancing, and assisting the Accounting Manager and CFO in the completion of both internal and external reports. This position will also be cross-trained as a Member Solutions Representative (MSR) and will assist with running a teller window as needed.
Key roles include the following:
Delivers top-notch service to members as well as provide friendly, high-quality support to other Credit Union employees.
Balances team and individual responsibilities while exhibiting objectivity and openness to others’ views; Contributes to building an up-beat, positive, member-focused culture.
Demonstrates excellence and attention to detail when performing Accounting and MSR activities; Maintains knowledge of Credit Union products and services to competently promote appropriate solutions to member needs.
Commits to upholding, promoting, and staying compliant with all organizational policies as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications for this position include the following:
Two or more years of Accounting experience, preferably in the banking industry;
A high school diploma or equivalent, two or more years of college is preferred;
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills;
Strong mathematical aptitude with proven skills in Excel and other MS Office applications;
Most of all, the candidate needs to have a driving passion for making a difference in people’s lives though fulfilling the organization’s mission.
