(Many area vendors are easily recognized by the software built into BillPay.) Then you can set to pay a set amount to MCTV on a set day (like the 15th of every month), or pay the bill on a date when it works into your budget. (We take the funds, and pay the bill for you, either by mail or usually by ACH transfer). There is no fee for the transaction, unless you choose to "rush" or expedite the payment.

Auto Value Assistance

When purchasing or selling a vehicle, it is important to make certain of the fair market value of the vehicle. It is important to know the value for insurance purposes as well.
We will be happy to assist you with obtaining a NADA (National Automobile Dealers Assn) price valuation for a vehicle. There is also an online guide at www.nadaguides.com/. This is the guide we (as lenders) use to make sure the value of the vehicle is appropriate to the sales price. Be sure to use the zip code feature, as some vehicles are more popular (and valued higher) than others. For example, 4x4 trucks may be more popular in Ohio than in Florida.

These are valuations based on the condition of the vehicle, such as "rough", "average" or "clean". If you have an exceptionally clean vehicle, you should document the condition of the vehicle with photos, options and prices with dates. If the vehicle is stolen or wrecked, you may need this documentation to prove the vehicle's higher-than-average value to the insurance company paying the claim.

  • Kelley Blue Book also has vehicle valuations.

  • First Time New Car Buyer Guide at Edmunds.com

  • Here's a You Tube video that helps explain the difference between the book prices, especially if there are wide differences. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWu-Sk2RUPc .

  • Find vehicles for sale in this area, or compare your vehicle's price aginst other vehicles for sale at AutoTrader .

  • Is the vehicle stolen, now or in the past? Could the vehicle have been in a flood? NICB's VINCheck is a free service provided to the public to assist in determining if a vehicle has been reported as stolen, but not recovered, or has been reported as a salvage vehicle by cooperating NICB member insurance companies. To perform a search, a vehicle identification number (VIN) is required.

Debit/ATM Mastercard

When using the card at a merchant...The Wayne County Community Federal Credit Union MasterCard® functions as an ATM Card linked to your Savings, Checking and other transactional accounts you may have. You may use ATMs ithe Alliance One network or the MoneyPass Network with no fee or surcharge. The card also acts as a debit card, so you can use the card at merchants and vendors using the internationally-recognized MasterCard network.

When using the card at a merchant...
At a glance, the merchant may not know if the WCCFCU MasterCard® debit card is a debit card, credit card or both. The merchant (or the card reader) usually will ask "Debit or Credit?", or you swipe your own card and are prompted to make a selection with the push of a button. Your decision merely determines how the purchase will be processed. The funds will always be deducted from your Checking Shares.

When you select "Credit" :  purchases are processed by the MasterCard® network. You are required to sign a receipt like you would with a credit card purchase and funds in your Checking  are put on "hold" until processed.
The advantages to choosing "Credit" are:

  • Purchases may be protected by MasterCard's rules and regulations that allow you to dispute charges improperly processed by merchants.
  • MasterCard debit (choosing credit) is more widely accepted with merchants as a form of payment.
  • In some instances, merchant payment terminals are set up to default to (or practically) force "Debit" transactions. In these instances, you are not given the option to select "Credit". Tell the merchant you prefer a "Credit" transaction.

When you select "Debit" : your purchases are processed by the STAR® or MoneyPass System. Therefore, you need to enter a PIN (your four digit code) and funds are immediately deducted from your Checking.

  • You should select "Debit" when you want cash back from the merchant. It saves you a trip to the ATM and saves youa trip, and provides funds when you really need it!

Borrow up to $5,000 for individual (or up to $10,000 for joint, or 2 people) for whatever you need! You'll get your money fast, and you'll have just one low fixed monthly payment. When you apply, your Signature Loan is based on income, credit history and ability to meet current credit obligations.

Minimum $1,000 original balance. Payments will vary based on the amount borrowed, and the rate and term of the loan. A personal financial statement may be needed for some signature loans. Verification of employment (such as current pay stubs) or proof of income (such as tax returns) are needed to process signature loans. Bring account numbers and balances (and addresses)  of accounts to be paid off with loan proceeds. The amount you may be able to borrow and the rate are based on the credit and qualifications of the borrower(s).

Refinancing: To refinance an existing personal loan, you are asked to have the loan open for at least a year or have the loan half paid-down, and to borrow at least an additional $500 on top of your current payoff.

New and Used Auto Loans

Wayne County Community Federal Credit Union is known for being one of the best sources for automobile loans in the area, and we also specialize in refinancing auto loans from other lenders. Often, due to better rates, longer terms, lower interest rates and our not-for-profit structure, we can put you in a loan with a better payment than you would find anywhere else.

We use "Risk Based Pricing" for our loans, so those borrowers with great credit are rewarded with premium loan rates. We can also usually accomodate those with some bumps in their credit with rates and terms that are very competitive as well. There are several factors that go into the mix for your particular situation, so we encourage you to talk with us to discuss how we can best serve you. We try to look beyond the credit score when possible, and work with you on an individual basis.

Home Equity Loans

A Home Equity Line of Credit (also called a HELOC) gives homeowners ongoing access to the owners equity they have built into their residence. You can draw on or repay the line of credit as needed, and if you do not need to use the HELOC, it may sit unused until you do need it again.

  •  Borrow up to 80% (percent) of the appraised value of your primary residence, minus the balance of the first mortgage. For example, if your home is appraised at $150,000, then 80% of that is $120,000. If the balance on your first mortgage is $75,000, then there is up to $45,000 in available equity to borrow. The minimum credit line is $10,000, and the HELOC may only be the first or second lien on the property.

  • The interest paid on your HELOC may be tax-deductible. Check with your qualified tax advisor for eligibility.

  • Call us for the details of our HELOCs.

Recreational & Lawn Equipment & Trailer Loans

For Campers | RV | Motorcycles | ATVs | Boats | Small Trailers | Personal Watercraft | Riding Mowers | Small Tractors (for non-commercial use) or more...
Maybe you play hard. Maybe you work hard.
We'll make the financing easy though.
As a general rule, we finance all the above equipment at just one percent higher than the auto loan rates. Most of the qualifications for automobile loans also apply for these loans.

  • For new or never-titled purchases: loans are as low as 3.49% APR for up to 84 months, for up to 100% LTV

  • For used, 2017-2010 purchases or refinances: loans are as low as 4.99% for up to 66 months, for up to 100% LTV

  • For used, 2009 or older purchases or refinances: loans are as low as 6.99% for up to 60 months, for up to 100% LTV

  • We understand that some high-end RVs and other equipment may require longer terms, and will look at every situation and adjust terms as needed. We will look for ways to help you out.

  • APR = Annual Percentage Rate. LTV = Loan to Value. Loan to Value is a ratio defined as the loan dollar amount divided by the market value in dollars of the collateral.
